Toxic friend

A friend who, when around you, belittles you or makes you feel bad about yourself.
They put you down and expect you to pick them up, or drain the life right out of you for their own gain.
With toxic friends like these, who needs enemies?

So.. do you have any by your side?

Wednesday, Khaki!

Going for a job briefing at one degree 15 later, squeezing this post out with iPhone app #win
Spent the whole of ytd nursing my aching shoulders and migraine. In need of a strong masseuse.
Just nice, Im going to bkk next weekend. Gonna have a helluva time being kneaded at.

Last wednesday..................

Before Cheryl could join us, Khaki and I went to Antoinette (Mandarin Gallery) for dinner.
Chose Antoinette bcos I was famished and was reminded of how filling their Gnocchi Carbonara is!
And btw since Khaki havent been there, why not!

Pretty khaki with her present!! I got her a nude flare dress and she went like
"Woahhhhh Shan!!!!! This is super nice!! I'll be sure to wear it out!!"

Ambience that makes people feel like lazing around.

Concorde crepe (roasted chicken x bacon x creamy mushroom sauce)
Gnocchi Carbonara ( bacon x white wine cream sauce x poached egg x parmesan)

A short while later, this middle-aged man with a young sexy lady was directed to be seated right beside us.
He starts having a verbal diarrhea introducing himself; then he introduces the restaurant and the menu,
and in between, he kept mentioning boobs, boobs and boobs.
It feels like a blind date to me but Khaki insisted that the lady was a social escort.

Well it was really awkward and half the time when he's boasting abt himself, our expressions were like:

We finished up everything! The Gnocchi can be quite jelat after sometime, so its good for sharing.
I LOVE CARBONARAS TO DEATH! Esp those with a poached egg on top!!

After dinner, we went over to KPO. We should have met up on Mon/Tues instead.
They have this Martini night and all Martinis are going for $10++ only! I could have 3 of them lol

Not to forget, we experienced the worst pickup lines ever zzzzzzzz
"Where did you get your bracelets? They look very nice on you. Because you have very long hands"
DO I LOOK LIKE A GIRAFFE TO YOU? :(((((((
And he continues to try, and try, and asked his friend over to our table, and try and keep trying....

Wanted to try the pear cider that Khaki has been raving but they only serve apple cider.
Anyhow apple cider goes damn well with peppermint leaves, REALLY VERY NICEEEE.
Like mojito but its gassy.

KPO dont have a very extensive menu for desserts. In fact, they only serve 2 items under desserts.
We ordered the chocolate cake to surprise Khaki!

The chocolate cake is like ultra thick kind of moose, I finished half of it LOL
The raspberry filling could be more though.

Love how we always have endless things to talk about when we meet up!

I love everything above!
There is smth in the tone of neon that induce excitement and drama within me.
I like the fantastic contrast that it has with neutrals, BUT!!!!!

Just ten percent

It scares me when (suddenly) I have so many friends come looking for me to accompany them abroad for various procedures. Of course I dont mind being a nanny to my close friends, but on the same scale,  I dont wanna be their catalyst for surgeries. Are you gonna put an axe on my neck if anything goes wrong? :(

PS: It wasnt an impulse decision.

PSS: I prayed alot, did tons of hmk, preparations and soul-searching.

PSSS: I never do my nose and jaw lah. I logged in to formspring to see all the same questions. You guys may want to stop bugging me with the same questions expecting different answers.

PSSSS: Give me some leeway, I will reply to my formspring very soon lolololol #laziestbum

PSSSSS: I have my story. It wasnt fully for vanity that I did mine. If you havent heard the full story, dont create one for me sangkew!!

Anyhow, I just came back from KPO, it was a night well-spent with my girls ^^ GOODNIGHTY

Change, the only constant.

Its not too hard to spot the changes in me.
To be straightforward, I did braces and..................... yes, the inner corners of my eyes!

Honestly, I wanted to be discreet abt it at first.
Afterall, I thought I'll end up looking almost the same (I emphasized to the dr that I wanted to look
really natural. Maybe just 20% difference?) So whats the point of telling everyone?

But.............. lo and behold. I didnt expect myself to look SO DIFFERENT.
AT says I look extremely mix blood now wts. It just smth super minor.

Anyhow, its been 5 weeks and I really really love my eyes :') I really do!!
This is probably one of the bravest decision Ive ever made.

As for the braces........ its killing me its killing me!!!!
Its not bcos of the pain, its not even painful to begin with.

What really distress me is being restrictive with le everyday diet.
My diet is in a mess now. I eat lots of icecream, fattening chips and porridge now.
Grr really need some cheeken beef and pork to keep my mouth shut.

Take out a piece of paper now.
Write down the names of 10 people that you love most;
So much so that you are willing to lay down your life for them.
