Awkward moment when you took a couple of photos of your friend
and he/she requested to see the photos.
And you passed your camera or iphone to him/her.

The next thing was......................................
He/she went on to view all the rest of your photos
that have nothing to do with them, without asking you.
(those photos taken way back but still in your memory card)

I dont like I really dont like. Unless you're my ultra bestfriend,
else, privacy please. Good friends also need to respect privacy rightttttt.

What if inside my memory card got naked of me?
Say I camwhore while munching on pineapple tarts in the toilet?

Unlikely. Okay. But what if there're photos of my friends "zhao geng"?
Say after clubbing they used my camera/iphone to snap.
Dont say wont happen okay.
That time my friends was drunk and they pretty obscene photos.

Like that how? You see all? :(

But I thought of ways to combat these kind of people.
I'll usually just popped excuses like
1) Hey pass me my cam, I wanna take photos *snatches camera back*
2) Aye why you take so long, I also wanna see *snatches camera back*
3) Help me take a photo now can!! *waiting.. and waiting*
But usually it wont work bcos they'll say "later" or they'll do a quick runback to see all your photos.

Thats not all. I'll end off with..................

I say this gently for the sake of poking them lightly
so that they know its not supposed to IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Till date, the worst reply Ive gotten
"Photos only what. Also not anything important."

Will fly to church right after. And guess what, after church, I GONNA WORK AGAIN.

Yes smth happy to share! After weeks of hardcore searches (for cheongsum),
I finally set my mind on smth decent and simple.

Theres a lot of onlineshops out there selling nice cheongsums,
also alot that sells slutty-looking cheongsum, either too short or too sexy. Brrz
Like those ah tiong hostesses wear in hokkien night clubs one.
Not naming any out, you guys go check it out yourself.

AND AND AND Smartie is going to bake cranberry cookies RIGHT AFTER cny countdown.
Must shou-sui anw one what, might as well do smth productive. Right??

So I got curious abt the different colours of concealors and its amazing to
find out what color cancels away which which skin tones

Yellow: cancels purple to blue
Purple: cancels yellow
Green: cancels redness

............. brilliance.

Concealer should always be 1- 2 shades lighter than our actual skin tone.
Better still, a yellow base rather than pink. But I gonna try out
different concealers and see which covers best hehehe!

I'm back frm BKK, it was experience of a lifetime. G's bag was cut, we got smoked to go to gem exhibitions, my money was lost, we took neoprints in costumes.......... Enough details! Gonna take some time to finish blogging abt bkk =.=

So what happened this morning was, i finally got a chance to perform my pun aft planning it for days lol. Bought AT's dad some pumpkin chips bcos idk what to get for him. This is how my pun goes:

Im flying off to BKK in <12 hours with BFF woohooo! Im going crazeeeey from thoughts of indulging in tom yum goong, cold sour glass noodles, pancakes, coconut ice-cream, and ooooh, the delish mango sticky rice blahblahbllllah!! Packed my luggage, waiting for AT to come over and have dins. Such a sweet boy - he insist of driving me to airport muackzx. IM READY TO GOOOO!!

I hope I stop coughing by tmr, Ive been coughing my lungs out the entire night ytd. Woke up 3 times to boil water; Idk abt you but hot water makes me stop coughing temporarily.

Chocolate Honey Oat Cereal Bars topped with crushed peanuts!
(Easy to make, very yumzx hehehe)

Basically what I used for this is...............................

(1) Post Honey Bunches of Oats (inside is all crispy flakes, crunchy oat clusters lightly coated with honey)

(2) Kellogg's Coco Pops (I didnt use all, kept some to go with milk. I love it, its soooo nice!)

(3) HL low-fat milk

(4) Rocky Mountain Marshmallows

(5) SCS salted butter

Melt the 3/4 of the butter, put marshmallows into pan. Keep stirring till both butter and marshmallows melt totally. Rmb to use low heat!! Else your marshmallows gonna get burned instead of melting. Melted product should be in liquid form, not sticky. Pour in honey oats and coco pops, mix well and scoop all onto container. Refrigerate for abt 2-3hrs then cut them into pieces!

Gotten my results last week. To be honest, Im pretty satisfied

*kinda proud of it actually lol

But shit thing is, I FLUNK ECONS PAPER AGAIN.

I kinda expected it but.............

Its the second time and I swear I hate it :'((

Im most proud of my ESAP paper - I gotta say I DID EXREMELY WELL FOR IT!

Im lucky enough to have a good lecturer(Gerrald Boh)

My ESAP was in the first sem lor *blame UOL PT timetable*

(means I go for 2.5 months of lecture, then 6mths later take the exam)

You know, I stayed awake throughout the entire night mugging;

and in the exam hall, my brain was like stucked with

zillion tons of rubbish, cannot think cannot process brr.

I came out from the hall, #emo max.

Told WengSeng that Im gone alr, expecting my result to be 40-50.

cos I didnt have time to touch the last essay qn (worth 20m)!!!

100-20=80

BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got 68 for ESAP :D  so means my essay is power one lor haha

Dawnie and me met up for tanning on a Tuesday.

PMS
Ive been extremely short-tempered recently and it seems like
the simplest of things can make me wanna fire missiles at people.

I know this cannot be faulted to just PMS alone but
IT IS REALLY PRE-MENSTRUAL SYNDROME LOR.
I feel plenty of anxiety, fatigue and mood swings! Worst of all,
I cant get to sleep! Im the kind, you put me on a bed and
I'll sleep in less than 1min kinda person.
Sigh but its good that Im bleeding away all these now.

The semi-belt is drafted so low, they look heavy. In fact, the models look dowdy here.

Love the trench-coat! The model looks shapeless here but there's beauty in this,

Honestly, AT and me have been meeting up every other day
but you know, its like just dins aft work and back home to sleep.
Ive been ranting to him and last few weekends was gr8888.
Silly boy made time for me :D

We pigged out at Manhattan's Fish Market on Sat & we ordered the Seafood Platter for 2,
and 2 sets of mushroom soup & soft drinks.
Never in my life have I conquered this set of platter with whoever
that dines with me!! The portion is huge one lor.
AT told me that he always finishes them with his friends;
just that this time rnd, we ordered soup and gassy drinks
so he cant eat as much. EXCUSE ONLY TSK!

We had a 'AH DO GEN' challenge and I lost terribly.
He very serious in trashing me lor @$@#%#%@&%@

On Fathers' Day itself, we went to town to get a gift (perfume/fragrance)
for daddy dearest from Sephora. AT was very nice to acc me
bcos he really detest the idea of going to town on a weekend - CROWDS.

After getting the gift, we went over to Marmalade Pantry for afternoon tea.
I recommended the best cake there (in my perspective)- Salted Caramel Cheesecake -
to the fussy boy who dont really appreciate cakes.
It came in a pretty big slice, good for sharing.
And guess what? He like the cake!

Hehhe btw AT wanted to try the smoothies but I insisted
on the Chamomile Herb Tea with Honey, which was equally awesome,
to go along BECAUSE I know the fussy boy doesnt have a sweet-tooth
and I'll end up with the cheesecake all to myself. Smart right!

Dad's birthday spells Bakerzin American Cheecake.
Every year also the same cake frm the same place, VERY STANDARD ZZ.
But this year I very smart, I got all the sliced cakes = more varieties
like the Black Forest Cheesecake and Oreo Cheesecake :)

I was at the Grand Opening of Forever21 with mommy and it was fabulous!

I skipped a couple of prelims paper, omg exams are coming againnnnn. I feel like Im taking O-levels again. OH UNI LIFE. Honestly, Ive started my revision. But Im @ this ridiculous slow pace. I detest it when people ard me turn emo nemo when it comes to Febuary fourteen. Hello there's nothing to feel shameful/embarrassed because you do not have a date (for what you tell me!) It kinda hurt me to see close friends getting especially depressed and blame themselves for past relationship mistakes/failures. Valentines day is romantic and beautiful, this day is not a curse. Celebrating love, is not just something for couples but for everyone. We all deserve love in our lives.

I have to share something meaningful for all of you out there. Being alone is not scary, but hating yourself bcos you're alone, yes its scary.

If you are at first lonely, be patient.

If you’ve not been alone much, or if when you were, you weren’t okay with it, then just wait. You’ll find it’s fine to be alone once you’re embracing it.

We can start with the acceptable places, the bathroom, the coffee shop, the library, where you can stall and read the paper, where you can get your caffeine fix and sit and stay there. Where you can browse the stacks and smell the books; you’re not supposed to talk much anyway so it’s safe there.

There is also the gym, if you’re shy, you can hang out with yourself and mirrors, you can put headphones in.

Then there’s public transportation, because we all gotta go places.

And there’s prayer and mediation, no one will think less if your hanging with your breath seeking peace and salvation.

Start simple. Things you may have previously avoided based on your avoid being alone principles.

The lunch counter, where you will be surrounded by “chow downers”, employees who only have an hour and their spouses work across town, and they, like you, will be alone.

Resist the urge to hang out with your cell phone.

When you are comfortable with “eat lunch and run”, take yourself out for dinner; a restaurant with linen and Silverware. You’re no less an intriguing a person when you are eating solo desert and cleaning the whip cream from the dish with your finger. In fact, some people at full tables will wish they were where you were.

Go to the movies. Where it’s dark and soothing, alone in your seat amidst a fleeting community.

And then take yourself out dancing, to a club where no one knows you, stand on the outside of the floor until the lights convince you more and more and the music shows you. Dance like no one’s watching because they’re probably not. And if they are, assume it is with best human intentions. The way bodies move genuinely to beats, is after-all, gorgeous and affecting. Dance until you’re sweating. And beads of perspiration remind you of life’s best things. Down your back, like a book of blessings.

Go to the woods alone, and the trees and squirrels will watch for you. Go to an unfamiliar city, roam the streets, they are always statues to talk to, and benches made for sitting gives strangers a shared existence if only for a minute, and these moments can be so uplifting and the conversation you get in by sitting alone on benches, might of never happened had you not been there by yourself.

Society is afraid of alone though. Like lonely hearts are wasting away in basements. Like people must have problems if after awhile nobody is dating them.

But lonely is a freedom that breathes easy and weightless, and lonely is healing if you make it.

You can stand swathed by groups and mobs or hands with your partner, look both further and farther in the endless quest for company.

But no one is in your head. And by the time you translate your thoughts an essence of them maybe lost or perhaps it is just kept. Perhaps in the interest of loving oneself, perhaps all those “sappy slogans” from pre-school over to high school groaning, we’re tokens for holding the lonely at bay.

Cause if you’re happy in your head, then solitude is blessed, and alone is okay.

It’s okay if no one believes like you, all experiences unique, no one has the same synapses, can’t think like you, for this be relived, keeps things interesting, life’s magic things in reach, and it doesn’t mean you aren’t connected, and the community is not present, just take the perspective you get from being one person in one head and feel the effects of it.

Take silence and respect it.

If you have an art that needs a practice, stop neglecting it, if your family doesn’t get you or a religious sect is not meant for you, don’t obsess about it.

You could be in an instant surrounded if you need it.

If your heart is bleeding, make the best of it.

There is heat in freezing, be a testament.

Twenty Ten wasn't easy breezy. My faith was challenged, so was my thought life. It was a year of parties, supper, martel & chivas, girlfriends, church, failures, ultra late nights, lectures & work.. Having been though life's shittiest moments, I was definitely compressed to be wiser and more aggressive. Aggressive for the people I love, aggressive for the things of God. I have this train of dreams ahead of me and I gonna make them happen one by one.

Im sorry for being shameless but I think I grew prettier this year, by the grace of God oh yes hahaha! AND MY NIKONBABY HAS DONE ME PROUD IN 2010. Im buying a new lens in 2011.

This girlfriend of mine totally rocked my world upside down. Ive never met someone whom I can bear my heart to SO MUCH, my deepest temptations and secrets, shes knows them all. Honestly, there's a point where I was draining from inside out. No we didnt meet to talk. But the thought of her kinda pulled me through. And when I was heartbroken, I gave her a call to tell her I need a hug. Her hug melted me. Shes just this special to me. I cant thank God enough for this best friend ♥

I was listening to this song when I was on my extremely looong bus ride back to Spore. Looking into the endless skyline, I was overwhelmed with His thankfulness. Every single word in this song stirred my heartstrings. I cant help but the presence of God was so strong I have to hymn the song and submit to His reverence all over, right in the bus. I dont understand. How could fear and loneliness seize you just suddenly. A moment ago, I was laughing. I cant help but hating this whole growing up process. I started off having 小女人 dreams as a kid, like those non-existent full time blissful housewives we always hear about. But I grew up loading more expectations and my mentality switched to being achiever in life.

Obviously I got stronger on the inside. I got it done big, now its expanding by itself - slowly but surely. And I started feeling responsible for my education. Ashamed, but it was never so in poly. And talk to me about forever, I needa hear your stories. Tell me about not being replaced or lives forever in the heart kinda cheesy stories. Yes be it friends or relationship. Tell me about it.

Responsibilities are increasingly taxing. Honestly. I feel so frail now. This is about capacity and tenacity. Its a slippery slope with no boundaries, I got no idea whats going to happen. Im freaked out seriously. This scares the shit out of me. Think, 100kg on a 55kg.

I think I just got to rant it out before I choke and die. I'll be alright. I'll push through this drama. I cant afford to give up because of stupid hormones disorder.

Cos it makes me that much stronger. Makes me work a little bit harder. It makes me that much wiser. Made me learn a little bit faster. Made my skin a little bit thicker. Makes me that much smarter. I'll be a fighter.

dont get me wrong. its really not about not believing/trusting in His word. i pray i confess i believe, yes i really do. but lets talk practical and rational. its abt life and the JOURNEY. im only human and i have feelings. at the end of the day, i know the Word never fails. my future is in safe hands.
